Two Swedish teams leading in the first changeover |

Two Swedish teams run in the lead of the Jukola Relay. Peter Örberg from OK Hällen punched in the finish of the first leg as the first team, and only 15 seconds after him came Graham Gristwood from IFK Lidingö to the changeover. After the two Swedish teams came Janne Salmi from Turun Suunnistajat exactly two minutes behind the leading team.
The first leg did not bring very big differences among the teams. Over 30 teams came to the changeover within 5 minutes. However, the winning team of last year, Kalevan Rasti, came over 10 minutes after the leading team, whose first leg runner Antti Nurmonen's leg time was 10.11 slower than the time of the leading Öberg.
