New traffic arrangements in Kaanaa |

More than 14 000 orienteers will run in Tampere-Jukola. To guarantee their safety during the relay, the organizers of Tampere-Jukola have received a permit to close 4 km of the road 14821 between Kaanaa and Hirsilä from the traffic.
The road is closed on Saturday, June 14 at 2.00 – 8.00 p.m. and from again from 11 p.m. until Sunday, June 15 at 1.00 p.m.
The closed road is between the crossing of the road 14822 and the Myllymetsä crossing, when arriving from the west. Myllymetsä road can be used when arriving from the direction Lauttakulma.
The usage of the road during the closed times is permitted for the inhabitants and those who have received a separate licence for that.
If you are arriving to Kaanaa from the direction Orivesi, please take into account the traffic arrangements. On Saturday afternoon it is not any more possible to drive along the road 14821 from Hirsilä to Kaanaa.
The local people are kindly requested to note that the road 338 (Sorila-Jäminkipohja) will be more crowded than usually on the summer weekends – taken that more than 30 000 people are expected to arrive to Tampere-Jukola. There will also be some additional speed limits and slow-downs due to the parking arrangements.
